We’re now seeking an E-commerce Operations Specialist who enjoys optimizing processes, managing systems efficiently, and ensuring smooth online storefront performance.

Who You Are

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience working with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform
  • Strong written and spoken English with demonstrable writing ability
  • Ability to write clear, polished English and turn ideas into clean copy
  • Practical understanding of product listings, variants, inventory, and order workflows
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools, especially spreadsheets
  • Excellent attention to detail and disciplined documentation habits
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to see tasks and features through to completion
  • Clear and professional communication skills in both writing and calls
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with small cross-functional teams
  • Professional attitude and ability to represent the team to enterprise clients

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in copywriting
  • Experience functioning as a virtual assistant for enterprise clients
  • Interest in integrations, apps, and simple automation
  • Enjoyment of troubleshooting and finding reliable fixes

What You’ll Do

You will support day-to-day stability and execution across Shopify and connected sales channels. This role blends operational discipline with client-facing finesse. You will act as an embedded member of an augmented client team, handling operational tasks, coordinating fixes, preparing clear reports, and providing virtual assistance and Shopify guidance when needed. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Senior E-commerce Consultant and receive direct guidance from leadership.

Daily Channel Operations & Monitoring

  • Monitor Shopify and connected channels for listing errors, image or variant issues, pricing inconsistencies, inventory sync problems, and platform anomalies.
  • Run routine backend checks and keep listings accurate and live.
  • Maintain concise issue logs with business impact and resolution status.

Issue Coordination & Platform Support

  • Investigate operational issues and outline likely root causes.
  • Coordinate fixes with internal teams and external app or platform support.
  • Track resolution progress and escalate recurring or critical issues to seniors.

Product, Listing & Data Management

  • Update product data: titles, descriptions, tags, images, SKUs, variants, pricing, and inventory.
  • Ensure listings follow internal standards and platform requirements.
  • Validate affiliate or influencer tracking data when relevant.

App, Integration & Tool Monitoring

  • Configure and maintain third-party apps and integrations.
  • Identify sync gaps or data mismatches and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Assist in testing updates to confirm stability before and after changes.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare inputs for weekly and monthly operational reports.
  • Keep SOPs, checklists, and issue-resolution notes up to date and clear.
  • Produce concise summaries suitable for leadership review.

Client-Facing Virtual Assistance

  • Act as a reliable, professional point of contact for enterprise clients as part of our augmented team.
  • Provide timely support, follow-up, and simple Shopify guidance.
  • Draft or polish client communications, proposals, and status updates as needed.

Additional Details

Position type: Full-time, remote, US timezone-based.

Reporting to: Operations Manager and Senior E-commerce Consultant.

Salary Range: BDT 25K - 30K

Start date: As soon as available.

Bonuses: Two festival bonuses and four quarterly bonuses as per performance.
